Dan Issel was one all-time jump-shooting big men. One thing that he could not do was win a national champion ship. Dan Issel went on and earned a Hall of Fame plaque.
Cliff Hagan
In his last two seasons he averaged about 24 points a game. Hagan was the center of KY averaging 13.4 rebounds per game in his career. With a latter average, Hagan set a wildcat record at the time tying for 3rd best in school history.
Jamal Mashburn
Jamal, one of the best players Kentucky has ever seen. Mashburn averaged 21 points per game in his senior year. Impressive scorer Mashburn, twice hit over 40% from 3 point range.
Antoine Walker
Rick Pitino, formal coach of Walker helped Antoine become an NBA all-star in Boston. Walker averaged 15.2 points as he led the wildcats to the national title in 1996. Walker scored better than 20 points in at least 5 games.
